It all starts with the pre-assessment. It’s a 5-minute series of questions you can answer online, and helps us to know if a further consultation with our ADHD clinician is going to be worth your time (and £249 fee).
Our clinician will then review your answers. If they think a consultation is right for you, they'll ask you to provide contact details for someone who knows you well, so we can email them a short online survey to complete. This can be a parent, or anyone else who's known you since birth, and knows information about your developmental history and your mother's pregnancy with you (such as an extended family member or family friend). The survey should only take 5 minutes.
Once your chosen person has completed this, you’ll be invited to book an appointment. You can choose your own time, and we usually have slots available on either the same or the next working day. The average appointment length is around 90 minutes.
At your consultation, our ADHD clinician will talk about your feelings and symptoms with you, ask you some questions, and discuss your medical history.
After your consultation has finished, our clinician will put together a report based on your discussion, and make a decision about your diagnosis. If you are diagnosed with ADHD, they’ll recommend a treatment plan for you, and you can choose whether to accept it.
Once you accept and start the treatment plan, we’ll get your first delivery of treatment ready at our registered UK pharmacy. Then, each month, we’ll send you a reminder asking you to confirm re-delivery of your next month’s supply. And you’ll get expert advice and info as part of your personalised aftercare.
